WALDA 2021 AGM + September Networking

WALDA is in great shape, with a solid mix of members; designers, partners, students and graduates. The current Board has focused on building strong foundations for the future and has successfully instigated a new student and sponsors programme. Establishing strong professional development opportunities and regular networking events – the future is bright.

The following positions will become vacant:-

  • President – to sustain the ethos of WALDA this position can only be held by a Design member
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • General Board Members – Positions available

All titled positions may be held by the same person for a period of 1 to 4 years. There is no limit to the length of time a person remains on the board or how many different positions they hold.

The WALDA Board is a vibrant, exciting and inspiring group to be a part of shaping the future of WALDA. The Board is dedicated to advancing the profession of landscape design and professionalism within the industry.  We meet once a month to openly discuss and plan initiatives for the future.

A number of aspects previously undertaken by the Board will now be outsource.

Nominating for a position can be done formally by writing to info@walda.com.au or by nominating at the AGM. If you are interested in joining the board and wish to discuss the roles available please give us a call.

  • Presidents Review
  • Treasurers Report
  • Voting for the new Board
  • Meeting Closed

Followed by networking – join us for a light supper and let the new board shout you a couple of drinks.

As outgoing President I’d like to thank you for your support, it has been truly appreciated and an amazing experience.

I hope to see as many of you as possible at the AGM and look forward to celebrate the WALDA 2021 Awards.
